My fourth little punkin’ is here…finally.
Fisher decided to extend his stay in my uterus for an extra six days past his estimated due date.
Six very long days.
And the sixth night was the longest.
A little before midnight on January 25, after five hours of contractions at home, we made our way to the hospital where we waited another five hours. And then another five hours. And then an hour after that. Fourth babies do not mean a quicker labor.
But it was so worth it! Because on January 26, 2014 at 10:56 in the morning, the final resident of my womb turned out the lights, locked the door and entered the world.
And I instantly fell in love with him- all 9 and a half pounds of him. That’s 9 pounds and 8 ounces of smooshy, fat, rolly baby goodness.
I feel like the luckiest lady in the whole wide world.
Fisher is my biggest baby and my baldest baby…
So thankful to have Mess to help with the big boys. She stayed the entire night. In my book, she ranks right up there with epiderals!
